GDOT GA400 Open House Thursday 2/26 at 4PM-7PM In our board meeting last Thursday, we had an informative session with Marsay Simpson, Marc Fordham, and Anna Cherry of the offices of Sen. Chambliss, Sen. Isakson, and Rep. Lewis, respectively, as well as Ga. Rep. Ed Lindsey and Common Cause's Bill Bozarth. Much of the discussion focused on how to elevate the priority of the GA400/I-85 interchange so it is completed in a prompt and responsible manner. During the meeting, mention was made of an upcoming GDOT meeting about GA400/I-85. We have been able to confirm that meeting on the GDOT web site, as follows:

Given the impact this incomplete interchange has on Buckhead traffic and quality of life, we need a big Buckhead turnout, by both BCN board members and individual residents. Please put this on your calendar and include it in e-mail blasts to your neighborhood. When you attend, it is important that you tell GDOT, especially in writing, that you want the interchange completed quickly and with respect for neighborhood integrity and quality of life.
