List of e-mail addresses for Georgia Representatives
This is Gordon
Certain writing. I am president of the North Buckhead neighborhood
association
and secretary of the Buckhead Council of Neighborhoods. I have set
up the list of e-mail addresses
for the House of Representatives. Unfortunately, there is not a simple way
to lead you through the
process of sending e-mails to about 140 recipients since I have no idea what
kind of e-mail software
you are using.
Presonally, I tried pasting all 138 addresses into my e-mail system (Outlook 2007 on
Windows 7 through
Comcast.net ) and only the
first 101 were sent, so I had to send a second e-mail with the rest of the list.
So I would recommend
that you send several batches and have set up lists that way.
I have prepared several formats which you might try: Commas between addresses,
semi-colons
between addresses and a simple list with one line per
address. Try commas first. If that
doesn't work,
try semi-colons. If
neither work, try to work with the plain list.
The basic technique to use is to
highlight the entire list of 50 addresses using your mouse, copy and paste
into the "to" field on your e-mail.
Send the e-mail and then
forward a copy of the e-mail you just sent from
your "sent mail" folder to the next 50, and the final 38.
Note: if anyone with really good HTML/e-mail skills can help me simplify this
process, please e-mail me
at gcertain@comcast.net or call my
cell at 404-219-2818.
