3860 Peachtree Dunwoody Road - A proposed subdivision by James Beak to create two lots. No formal application has been made and no NBCA position has been taken.
Peachtree Dunwoody Road - (SD-99-13) A Subdivision Application proposed by John Murray on Peachtree Dunwoody Road. NBCA has contacted the City to establish the approval status of this subdivision and requesting plan details as well as information relating to the timing of a possible appeal.
3750-81 Wieuca Road - This application for a 10-lot subdivision is currently under review by the City. The neighborhood has expressed concerns over the proposed encroachment into stream buffers and the lack of a tree restoration plan.
Phipps Plaza - A Special Administrative Permit application by Ground Zero Site Acquisitions, representing AT&T Wireless, presented to locate three arrays of antennae on top of the Phipps Plaza building. NBCA supported this request.
Committee - Co-chairs Kay Beynart and Bob Young wish to express their appreciation to all of the outgoing members of the Zoning Committee. They include Bob Chakales, Harold Cunliffe, David Dollar, George Ingols, Jay Lask, Leon McElveen, Lamar Miller, Elizabeth Munson, Barbara Pollock and Sally Silver. Each of these volunteers deserves thanks for their time and efforts of last year. Under Kay and Bob, the Committee was able to boast a high success rate in defending and improving North Buckhead.
The 2000 Land Use Committee will be Chaired by Harold Cunliffe with Lamar Miller as Vice-Chair. Further Committee appointments will be announced on the web site and in the next Newsletter.
