Since we came on-line in April 1998, we've had more than 53,000 hits at our site! Our most popular page, after the home page, is the "Fence Talk" page, where neighbors can ask questions and leave comments. Next most popular are the "Newsletter" pages where you can view recent editions of this newsletter. In fact, the newsletter is now published on our web site as soon as it goes to the printer. In addition to these popular pages, there are dozens of other pages on topics ranging from our Habitat project to neighborhood history.

Sidewalks in our neighborhood, once an improbable dream, are slowly becoming a reality. Working through the city government bureaucracy and politics has taken years, but we are making progress. Luckily, some city officials have made the path to sidewalks a little smoother.
Carlos Christian is one of those people. He is an engineer with the City Public Works Department in charge of the Wieuca Road Sidewalk project. Throughout the project Carlos has made himself available to neighbors to discuss the sidewalk plans and to listen to their concerns. He always comes with a positive attitude, a willingness to help and our interests at heart.
We thank him for his efforts to help make our neighborhood better. A job well done!
