Block Captains Needed

Block Captains lead the Neighborhood Watch.  They work with Zone 2 of the Atlanta Police Department to reduce crime.

We still need volunteers for Street Captains and Block Captains in our neighborhood. (see NBCA listing under "Street Captains" or "Block Captains").  Your street needs additional leadership to address new issues and continue to work

on old ones.  Please call Dabney Daniel at 404-814-1921 to learn more and get ready for the next Street Captain/Block Captain meeting on May 15th at 6:00 p.m. at St. James United Methodist Church.

Join us in applauding our Street Captains & Block Captains who helped our neighborhood in 1999!

Business people, store owners, realtors...

Ever wanted to bid for that high visibility spot right at the top of the NBCA Web Site?

If your ad had been on our home page last year, the first thing nearly 10,000 visitors would have seen would be your ad; projections suggest we'll have 80% more visits this year.

Ever wondered what it would do for your name-recognition in the neighborhood to have this premium exposure?  Here's your chance!  For the past two years, Jackie Goodman, our web site's charter sponsor, has been generous enough to pay for this ad.  However, we know there are others out there that are interested in this prime spot too, and we want to be fair,

therefore, we are going to "auction" (actually, more like a sealed bidding) this prime "real estate" to the highest bidder.

What do you get? NBCA will set up your NBCA home page banner ad and create your larger (up to 100,000 bytes) NBCA web ad on a separate page plus a link to your own company's web site.

Please email your final bid to gcertain@nbca.org or mail it to NBCA, PO Box 420391, Atlanta, GA 30342.  The highest bid received by May 15, 2000 gets the ad.  The starting bid is $400.  Don't send your check until you win.  In the event of a tie, we'll flip a coin at the Spring Fling party on May 21.
