NBCA Website Is A Hit!

On March 28, 1998 NBCA modestly started a neighborhood web site.  Initially, few people noticed it.  But, as more people got Internet access and as we did a better job in advertising, more and more came.  On October 13, 2000 our web site reached a major-league achievement for a neighborhood web site - we reached 100,000 "hits" (or pages visited).

Not all of the site visitors are local.  Webmaster Gordon Certain has been contacted by Internet visitors from Tennessee, Florida, California, New York and other states.

Recently, NBCA officers Sue and Gordon Certain were interviewed by a Wall Street Journal reporter who found them through the NBCA web site - the article, about Halloween in different parts of the country, ran October 13, 2000 and mentioned why Gordon & Sue's North Buckhead home doesn't get as many 'trick or treaters' as nearby streets.  [Answer: Long, steep driveway and houses on only one side of the street.]
