The following is a summary of the financial activities of our Civic Association for the year 2000. For the year we operated with a net surplus of approximately $1,800. Net receipts for membership accounted for over $10,000, the legal fund accounted for $10,000, and the Christmas Tree Sale accounted for approximately $2,500. On the expense side $9,900 of the legal fund covered legal fees associated with efforts to appeal the TAP vs. COA case.
Another major expenses included the producing the NBCA Newsletter costing a net of approximately $7,300 for 4 newsletters, $1,800 for spring fling, and approximately $1,100 to produce our new 'I love North Buckhead' T-shirts.
