Smith Elementary School. She has lived in her house on Rickenbacker Way for 15 years with her now teenaged son Nash. She is interested in protecting greenspace in North Buckhead and has worked with neighbors and developers to establish the Blue Heron Nature Preserve.
Suzanne Rubini (Incumbent) For the past two years, Suzanne Rubini has served as Social Committee Co-Chair and on the North Buckhead Civic Association Board. Originally from Westchester County, New York, Suzanne and her family have lived in North Buckhead (Tree Haven Dr) since 1992. Suzanne attended Northwestern University and New York University School of Law.
After graduating from NYU, Suzanne practiced real estate and zoning law at the New York City firm of Rosenman & Colin. In 1991, Suzanne joined the Atlanta regional office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency where she is currently the Chief of the Office of CERCLA Legal Support. Suzanne looks forward to continuing her work with the NBCA Board to address issues affecting our community.
Tony Thevis Tony is 34 years old, single and a native Atlantan, who lives on Rickenbacker Way. He has been in the residential real estate business the last 14 years through sales, renovations and new construction. He has lived in North Buckhead for the last eight years and has experienced the massive growth of our neighborhood. rains hard, we have few sidewalks, far to much commercial encroachment on our neighborhoods, little police presence and other problems I could mention. But with all that we still live in the best part of Atlanta."
Tony wants to give his time to increase NBCA membership, to work on a committee for the dangerous traffic situation and to do whatever is asked of him to better our neighborhood for everyone.
