Blue Heron Nature Preserve - Phase II

The NBCA and Chattowah Open Land Trust have applied for an Arthur Blank Foundation grant to acquire the wetlands at the end of Emma Lane. Currently, the wetlands are   privately owned.  If we should receive the grant the money will be used to purchase the property and restore the land.  The City of Atlanta has pledged $200,000 and NBCA has pledged $10,000 to match this grant.  NBCA has also committed to raise another $10,000.  That's where you come in.  We

need your help!  In order to reach this goal and save these beautiful wetlands we need your pledge of support!

The enclosed flyer (pages 5 and 6 of this newsletter) details our fundraising efforts and how you can help.  All together, we need $625,000, so we need help on all fronts.  We hope for major help from the Blank Foundation and help from you, too.  Please fill out the  coupon with your pledge and mail it in.
