Our Land Use/Zoning Committee has reviewed several applications so far this year.  Wesley Milner presented his Peachtree Dunwoody subdivision plans to our       committee and interested neighbors voluntarily -- a rare offer of cooperation from a developer!  We heard two Variance applications; our recommendations were    unanimously endorsed by the Zoning Committee of   NPU-B.  Currently we are engaged in two Special Exception applications, both involving fences.

We have all read in the press about the pending development of the 'Central City' project at the Peachtree- Piedmont corner next to the Hyatt hotel.  While within NBCA's area, this project is subject to the regulations of SPI 12: the 'Buckhead/Lenox Stations Special Public Interest District' written in the 1980's.   Under these provisions, a master plan for the Central City project was approved by the City in 1989.  Current amendments to this master plan are handled at the NPU-B level.  NBCA is represented through its Land Use/Zoning   Committee chair.  By way of our involvement we have  become aware that the SPI is very much in need of    being updated to reflect current conditions of our area.
