Lakemoore/Roswell Signal?

The City of Atlanta's Traffic and              Transportation Department has informed us that they are studying the possibility of         installing a traffic signal at the intersection of     Roswell Road and Lakemoore Drive.  This possibility has been celebrated by some Lakemoore residents, but others regard it with dismay.

The potential advantages would be easier left turns onto Roswell Road from Lakemoore and easier access into and out of Pike's Nursery.  The potential disadvantages include increased   traffic volumes on Lakemoore and slowed    traffic flow on Roswell Road.  If you have a view, for or against, please let us know.

In the big picture, from Piedmont Road to  Lakemoore Drive, Roswell Road is a congested area with many retail stores, condos and   apartments, yet there are no traffic signals.  If you have opinions about how traffic flow and traffic safety can be improved in this area, please let us know at:
NBCA, P. O. Box 420391, Atlanta, GA 30342, or
Robert Sarkissian at oversark@bellsouth.net.
