Forum on Northern Arc

These crime reports may be of interest:

Neighbor #1
I got an email report that yesterday afternoon around 5:30 a man in a green Honda with gold trim was pulling into driveways on North   Stratford Road near Old Ivy Road.  He then  apparently videotaped the homes (which were not for sale).

Please be aware and call 911 if you see anything that looks peculiar.  Get a tag number and other details if you can.

Neighbor #2
Just thought I would pass this along.  I live on Old Ivy Road and realized this past weekend that a number of tools have apparently been stolen from my garage.  Someone heisted a new edger, leaf blower, weed eater and pressure washer -- probably $1,500 worth of stuff.  We generally keep the garage doors closed, of course, and have installed a new dead bolt on the side door.  I suppose it's easy enough for someone to pull up when you're not home and load up items like this, but I thought it might be helpful to remind everyone to protect their garages as well as their homes.

The Georgia Conservancy, an environmental           organization which opposes construction of the Northern Arc Road, is sponsoring a public forum on the subject.

The forum will be held Wednesday, May 29, from 7 PM - 8:30 PM at the Georgia Pacific Auditorium located at 133 Peachtree Street.  For more information, contact Michael Halicki of the Georgia Conservancy, at mhalicki@gaconservancy.org or 404-876-2900, ext. 14.

Additional information is available at                   www.gaconservancy.org.
