Our email list also continues to grow and is now at about 900 addresses. However, even with that huge number of addresses, we can only reach about 20% of our 2,300 residences. (Some homes have given us two or three email addresses.)
It is hard to exaggerate the importance of providing us with at least one email address. We won't send you junk mail and we won't sell or give your address to anyone else. On the other hand if we have your email address:
· We can warn you that a rezoning application is being processed on your street.
· We can warn you about criminal activity reported in the neighborhood.
· We can invite you to special meetings we have held with city officials about sewer projects and traffic problems.
· We can warn you that people in your area are experiencing water quality problems.
How do you send us your email address? It's simple - send a note to gcertain@nbca.org and say add me to your list!

The City's 24 NPUs (Neighborhood Planning Units) are the "grass roots" level of Atlanta's government which make recommendations to the City on proposed legislation, zoning changes and other policies affecting neighborhood quality of life. NPU-B represents 12 Buckhead neighborhoods including North Buckhead.
NPU-B's residential leadership includes 12 directors appointed by the respective neighborhood associations and three "at large" representatives who are elected by NPU-B residents.
Elections were held earlier this month. Winners included Mike McLeod (Peachtree Park), Stephanie McGarity (Brookhaven), and Chris Patterson (North Buckhead).
Chris' contributions to his North Buckhead neighborhood include his current tenure as Vice-chair of NBCA's Land Use and Zoning Committee. Chris, his wife Daniela and their sons Josh and Noah live on North Ivy Road.
