FEBRUARY 2003

Tree Planting and Volunteer Park Clean-up Day

North Buckhead Park is looking marvelous, thanks to the efforts of Kim & Kevin McCauley, the NBCA Beautification Committee, and many volunteers.  To continue the park rejuvenation, trees will be planted in the park within the next few weeks.  The appearance of the park will be improved by the planting of six Allee Elm trees and ten service berry trees.

To further enhance the beauty of the park, we are having another North Buckhead Park Clean-Up Day at the end of February.  We need volunteers to help us with this exciting project!

Please watch for an email about the clean-up from Gordon Certain to learn of the exact day and time for the Clean-Up Day so you can lend a helping hand.  (If you don't have email, mail a note with your phone number to NBCA, PO Box 420391, Atlanta, GA 30342 and we'll contact you.)  We look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks for the many contributions we have received for our new Park Fund.  We'll use this money and future contributions to maintain the park and improve it further.
