administrator and teacher. She holds degrees (MBA, PhD) in Business Management and in Higher Education. Walda is interested in maintaining our neighborhood as a desirable residential area. She believes that responsible, well-organized neighborhood participation is essential in this process. Walda has served on the board of NBCA since 1999. She is currently serving as our association's appointed representative to NPU-B.
Chris Riggall - Emma Lane - is an Atlanta native who grew up near Chastain Park and attended Tuxedo Elementary and Dykes High schools. He and his wife Kitsie, a financial communications consultant, have lived on Emma Lane, off Lakemoore, since 1995. They have a particularly strong interest in supporting Blue Heron and in the completion of Phase II of the nature preserve. They also helped host last year's NBCA Fall Fling. Chart, a second grader at Sarah Smith, and Hunter, who will enter kindergarten at Smith next year. Chris, a journalism graduate of the University of Georgia, has for over 20 years worked in public relations and marketing communications in the public and private sectors. He is currently press secretary to Georgia Secretary of State Cathy Cox.
Andrea Waters - Lakemoore Dr - grew up in Camilla, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's in Business Education. She retired from teaching in May of last year and is now a realtor with Harry Norman, Realtors. She taught gifted students her last 6 years and during her career received a Master's in Elementary Education and a Specialist Degree in Science Education. Andrea has lived in Atlanta for 33 years and has resided in North Buckhead for the past 6 years.
She has become involved with the Blue Heron Nature Preserve and the North Buckhead Park and has helped the NBCA with membership. She recently joined the North Buckhead Garden Club, is a volunteer for the Southeastern Flower Show, and is very active in her Sunday School class at Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
Andrea has been interested in environmental issues for over a decade and sought to instill in her students a love of nature and the necessity for responsible conservation. She wishes to preserve greenspace in the neighborhood and promote growth in NBCA's membership.
Bob Young (I) - Pinecrest Rd - has lived on Pinecrest Road for 31 years, is married, and has one daughter. He is a licensed architect and structural engineer, was a Professor of Architecture at Georgia Tech and is now Corporate Architect for Georgia-Pacific. He was a founding member of NPU-B, and is on the Zoning Committee of NBCA and its Board.
