Sarah Smith School Redistricting -- continued

In an encouraging move, APS is proposing the reactivation of the 13-classroom Tuxedo School (on Northside near Hillsde) as a common kindergarten for Smith, Jackson and Brandon, for implementation in 2004/5.  This would take considerable pressure off Sarah Smith.

During this crisis many residents have complained to the City, not knowing that the APS is a completely separate entity.  APS has its own millage rate (taking over half of your property taxes) and a one-percent sales tax.  Please contact the following list of APS representatives about this and future school issues.
