North Buckhead Park: New grass & other news

Thanks to the Buckhead Community     Improvement District (BCID) and its      Executive Director, Scotty Greene, our North Buckhead Park will soon have new sod!  The north Buckhead Park is located at the intersection of Wieuca Road and Phipps Blvd.  (where the stone 'North Buckhead' monument is).   The preparation for and    installation of the sod will take place at the end April and beginning of May.

The BCID is a self-taxing quasi-governmental organization of area businesses.   Their objective is to improve   traffic, aesthetics and pedestrian accessibility in the corridor along and either side of Peachtree Road from W Shadowlawn to Wieuca Road.   See their web site at     www.buckheadcid.org.

Gary Jacobs of Jacobs Landscape     Company has been hired to maintain the park.  Gary and his crew planted the       wonderful new trees in the park and they will be installing the new sod.  Our park is becoming more beautiful every day!

Notice that construction activity next to our park?  The NBCA Beautification      Committee has been working with
Hedgewood Property, the builder of the new home adjacent to the park.  Hedgewood Property is working hard to ensure that the new home is compatible with the park.  Hedgewood Property is excited to work with us on future park improvements and the Beautification Committee is thrilled to have their help!
