Park clean-up on Oct 18

The Pink newsletter is back!

We  planning on having a Park Clean-Up Day on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 8:30 AM to noon. We know this is the same day as the Fling, but think it will work out fine since the clean-up will be in the morning and the Fling in the afternoon/evening. The Fling is a good way to say "thank you" to those folks who come out and help with the park.  We have set aside money for flowers & supplies.  Your contributions to help out with the Park fund will be appreciated.  Let's keep our park looking fabulous!

Thanks to the
Buckhead Community Improvement District (BCID) and its Executive Director, Scotty Greene, our North Buckhead Park new sod was installed in our park in May.

Gary Jacobs of Jacobs Landscape Company has been hired to maintain the park.

We tried an experiment last issue.  Why not change the newsletter from pink to white?

Why not?  Because our readers look for a pink newsletter, not a white one.   They can't find a white newsletter.  In fact, we realized that even though we knew our newsletter was white, we couldn't find our copy either.

We have learned our lesson.  When you have a two-inch stack of junk mail, it is hard to find the North Buckhead  newsletter if it's white.

So we've learned and we promise to leave our newsletter alone.  It has been pink for years and, with all the feedback we received after trying to make a change, we promise to keep it pink!

Thanks for all your feedback.
