is as gripping as a suspense novel.  See Donald Trump do battle with Mayor Ed Koch!  Joe Ferguson feels that The Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller is a great and valuable read, especially for all the real estate agents in our neighborhood.  It is currently the #1 New York Times real estate book and is a compilation of the habits of the 50 top real estate agents in the country. 

Terry May is reading an excellent book, The Art of Happiness by the Dalai Lama and Howard C. Cutler.  (I've read it and gotten a great deal out of it, too.  Two other excellent books that are spiritual autobiographies are Anne Lamott's Travelling Mercies and Dan Wakefield's Returning.  Lamott and Wakefield write like angels.--SCC)

For a fascinating work of nonfiction that reads like fiction, Maxine Rock recommends Erik Larson's Devil in the White City.  The "White City" was the Chicago World's fair of 1893; all its buildings were made of the same pristine color.  The "Devil" was a handsome madman who lured visitors to the fair into his made-for-murder chambers where he reveled in their suffering.  Larson also describes F.
