On January 10, 2005, between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, a thief was putting "lost dog" notices on mailboxes along quiet Statewood Road. At least, that's what it looked like he was doing -- actually, he was also secretly removing outgoing mail from those mail boxes. Ivy Road. People on our e-mail list knew about this prowler the same day. Did you? Were you notified of the City mailing about an important rezoning meeting that was entirely wrong, that there was no meeting that day about that site on your street? If not, you didn't give us your e-mail. The point of all of this is that NBCA offers a great, free service -- timely and important news about your neighborhood. All it takes to get this news is to send us an e-mail. Do it right now -- send an e-mail to gordon@nbca.org saying "Add me to the list." That's all it takes. Don't worry, we will never sell, give away, trade or rent your e-mail address. Try us out!
