| NBCA has two regular social events and sometimes additional
ones:
| The NBCA Annual
Meeting usually happens in the early part of the
year. This year it is going to be on Feb. 8. Attendance is free for
North Buckhead residents, but only NBCA members may vote in the election
for new and incumbent Board members. During the social (6:00 to 7:00),
there is food and the opportunity to meet your neighbors. The meeting
comes to order at 7:00. This year's speaker, John Sibley, will tell us
about the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority. We also expect
comments by Council member Lee Morris and Representative Kathy Ashe. We

| The NBCA Spring
Fling normally happens in May on a blocked-off
North Buckhead street. It's only purpose is to let North Buckhead
residents socialize. We have clowns and fire trucks for the kids and
food and drink for everybody, provided by the association. (More info
about last year's Spring Fling is available on our web site at http://www.nbca.org/spring_fling_99.htm.)
We have not selected the Spring Fling date yet for this year.
