1999's Spring Fling was held on May 16 at the south end of North
Stratford. Turnout was excellent -- an estimated 150 to 175 people
attended and enjoyed free food and drink provided by the North
Buckhead Civic Association. NBCA funds events like this to make it
possible for large numbers of neighbors to see old friends and to
meet new ones.

| A highlight of the street party was the participation of Shanita and
Ashley Silas. They are the future owners of a Habitat for Humanity house being
sponsored and built by North Buckhead. Their new home will be on Brown Avenue in SE
Atlanta. |
